Sometimes, I get tired of hearing about that “it” driver, or that “hot” shaft.
I REALLY get tired of hearing how we’re “not actually golfing” if we aren’t playing some name brand club.
Have any of you ever heard this, or worse, been the target of said talk?
Well, Wikipedia defines golf as:
…(A) precision club and ball sport in which competing players (or golfers) use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course using as few strokes as possible. Golf is defined, in the rules of golf, as “playing a ball with a club from the teeing ground into the hole by a stroke or successive strokes in accordance with the Rules.”
Nowhere in the definition does it state WHAT BRAND(S) to play in order to actually participate in the sport.
There’s no one way how to purchase (and clean!) golf clubs. It’s all about what you can afford. Believe it or not, you can play the game without heavily investing in gear.
Don’t let any barriers stop you from playing the game. There’s a workaround for almost every scenario.
I’m giving this download away, absolutely free:
For those with a seemingly infinite budget, get whatever you want.
That’s all there is to that. If your budget is smaller, you have to get creative.
For some of you, all you can afford is those box brands from non-golf retail stores. Such is life. Will you technically be missing out on maximizing distance and accuracy? Most likely… but my personal belief is, get people out there playing. Golf is an awesome game that’s given me quite a bit; I’m not about to horde that.
Maybe someday you’ll be able to get that fitted set of custom-made clubs– if you’re so inclined or able.
Maybe you end up playing really well without them (don’t laugh- it happens!). Either way, I hope my e-guide will help you figure out what kind of set you’re looking for.
